Kids Fishing Derby

10 am - 1 pm

This annual event is held each year in May at our beautiful Blair Lake, just a short walk from town. Registration for the 2014 Kid’s Fishing Derby will begin the first week in March 2014 so mark your calendars now for this years event!

Kids ages 15 and under enjoy a fun filled day of fishing with family and friends, free lunch, and raffle prizes. Tour historic North Bloomfield while your here. We will even clean and weigh your fish for you!

Humbug Day

Mark your calendar for the second Saturday in June. Revisit the exciting and controversial hydraulic gold mining era of the 1870’s! Enjoy Old Time music, wagon rides, barbecue picnic, homemade ice cream, reinactments, craft demonstrations, gold panning, candle making and tin punching, old fashioned family games and prizes, storytelling, living history tours of historic North Bloomfield, the world’s shortest parade and shooting the water cannon!

Old fashioned games and prizes are for all ages, including sack races, water balloon toss, bubble gum blowing, hoops & jump ropes. Learn how to make ice cream the old-fashioned way and enjoy a cone or bowl on us!
